CERAMICHI

Ceramichi is a brand by artist Michiko Seki.
In Paris, the artist studied ceramics and
glaze techniques at Art et Technique
Céramique de Paris, while also apprenticing
under ceramist Monique Lecorre. She further
developed her practice through repeated
training in Japanese ceramic studios,
cultivating a sensibility shaped by both
French and Japanese approaches to
ceramics.
Following these experiences, the artist
created custom-made tableware for
Michelin-starred restaurants in Paris, crafting
pieces that supported extraordinary dining
experiences. Through this practice, that
sensibility now finds expression within
everyday life in Japan.
